Dr. M. L. Daniels taught for
over 30 years and was chairman of the music department at Abilene Christian
University. His music has been
published for band, orchestra, chorus, solo voice, solo instrument, string
quartet and brass ensemble. He won 1st
place four times in the National School Orchestra composition contest and in
1999 he won the Texas Orchestra Directors Association’s composition
contest. He now lives in Austin, Texas
and spends his time judging band and orchestra contests, writing music, and
playing golf.
